New to TTR

Hey guys, just registered and looking to get into Historic GT. I have been using the Bathurst Legends mod on Ausfactor and this place popped up on their forums. Looks good so far!

Just installing it now. Do I need a valid copy of SimBin's GT Legends like the installer says?

dont try and install copy of gt legends to pc off an old cd! you'll get starfire rubbish on your PC and will crap itself. best to ask someone while on TS to run through a cracked version.

I don't have the CD, I'm just using the downloads from the LHS of the screen on here.

All sorted, thanks for the help on TS last night. One 'small' issue is that the graphics freak out when I change gears. I have auto clutch enabled but unless I actually use the clutch when shifting the screen shakes badly for about 5 seconds. I have tried different cars & tracks & they are all the same.

As for the shaking in game, it will the controller mapping for one of the "look left" or "look right" setting.
Change that and it should be all good.

It doesn't actually install GT Legends...I believe it just checks the exe. on the disc to prove you actually own the disc.

This will be the Grinding Tranny mod that comes with Historix.
Go to your Historix install\Plugins and delete: GrindingTranny.dll, GrindingTranny.ini, GrindingTranny_ReadMe.html, GrindingTranny_Telemetry.txt (created), BASS.dll, Grind_Default.wav
(You could transfer them to a folder on your desktop if you wanted to put them back at a later point).

All sorted now guys, just reset the controller mapping for 'look left' and 'look right' as suggested. I still might delete the files mentioned as the noise annoys me!
