TCL Mid Winter Tour - Round 5 (23rd August)

Nurburgring
Round 5. The track can be found in Teamspeak

Qualifying
Qualifying will be 10 minutes. You can do as many laps within the 10 minutes

Race 1 will be 20 minutes.
Race start will be 7.30TTR time.

There will be a 10 minute break before race 2

Race 2 will be 40 minutes
The grid will be based on the finish positions of race 1 however the first 6 positions will be reversed.
There is a controlled pit stop for this race.

Where on TS do I find track?  Can see mod downloads in the "-> Sundays ->TCL" folder, but no tracks.      Can see some tracks in "-> Sundays" folder, but not Nurburgring.

Just saw that Sth Africa cricket are live streaming the Black Caps ODI tonight, so won't be racing. But should be there for Laguna Seca, love that track.

Electrician has postponed, so I won't have internet on the desktop PC until tomorrow.

We had a pretty good turn out of 14 people, would have been great to have you there as well.

might need to slow the gtr down or increase tyre wear. 2 stopping and still winning.

Yeah, I think it does need a little work, the Sierra was faster in a straight line, but not around corners.
At the moment its the opposite !
Should be a very easy fix, just add a little aero drag & giving it some more rear end adjustment.

Also Growler is saying the Jag is like its on ice after a couple of laps, which I would say be something in the tyre file.

Then there's the Dunnydoor (TWR VL), which I think needs a touch more grunt and maybe a little rear adjustment.

Or...

Bring back both the Sierra and R32 so its a little closer to the Dunnydoor ?

bringing back both the sierra and r32 back to the rest of the feild is  a good idea

I'm happy for someone to look at my current setup just in case I'm missing something, but it is like driving on ice sometimes.
And brakes are horrible...but that could be related to the tire file as well.

The brakes on the M3 Evo are horrible as well, those things should stop on a dime, yet you have to nail the brakes miles out from a corner.

Had a go with the jag on laguna tonight, for me the exact same thing is happening with the jag as with the volvo, jag with hards and volvo with mediums, after a few laps once the tyres get right up to temp they get all greasy, you can sort of feel the steering disconnect with the front wheels.
So I run hards in the volvo and it's fine, still just as fast, now I tried very hards in the jag and went marginally faster than the hards but it kept constant over 5 or 6 laps with no sign of the greasiness arriving.
