Bit disappointed with with whatever the game decided to dish up to me in R3, I was 45 seconds in front of Worm and needed to do a splash and dash, 10 second stop, no damage, no tyres and it credited me with a third sector of 1.46:40 which is clearly not correct.
Finished 2 laps down when I should only have been one lap down in 10th, not 2 laps down in 11th.

Re: Legends of Bathurst - Round 2: Symmons Plains (Jan 31st)
My night started of pretty well, qualified 3rd much to my surprise
The race pace in the charger drops off allot because of having to detune the engine to last the race.
Ended up in 5th in the first race, but forgot to take the grill tape of for the second race, resulting in a blown engine
The third race, I saved fuel from the get go, didn't have to stop which put me in the lead.
DV_8 was catching quite quick towards the end of the race, from memory he came out of the pits about 23 seconds behind & by the end he was only 3 seconds away. A couple more laps & he would have past I'm think'n.
Also wanted to say sorry to some of you guys, for my unpredictable brakes in the Charger, they can be pretty bad at times & anything can happen in it when coming into corners as a few of you saw
I think the stand out of the night was DV_8, he definitely threw a spanner in the works with that HQ GTS !!
He stuck it on pole, got a 1st, 3rd & a 2nd in the races, which got him the round win (WELL DONE !!)
Also got the fastest laps in the 1st & 3rd race.

Re: Legends of Bathurst - Round 2: Symmons Plains (Jan 31st)
I'd say I had the best car for the track but happy with the round win. Aside from damaging the car heavily in race 2, the one problem I had was rear tyre wear. In race 3 I almost ran out of rears twice, so it will be an interesting thing to manage in the long races.

well done DV_8. blitzed us and thats what you've got to do. Make sure you take advantage when your car suits a particular track.
