Yes its back! 2016 GT3 League

League Start:
10th April 2016

League Format:
The league will spread over 8 weeks. There will be 2 races per night. 1 x 15 minute race and 1 x 40 minute race with a compulsory pit stop (You must change all four tires). This may change depending on the round. Qualifying will start at 7.30pm TTR time with the first race starting around 7.45pm.
There may be an interclub enduro Kiwis vs. Aus (KSR vs. TTR) for the last round.

Cars:
All cars will be available however if one model is dominant over the rest in practice that car may be dropped or weight added (Based on majority vote).
There are around 11 manufactures with some manufacturers having more than one model. Registrations will open soon. Once you have chosen your car and skin, you have to use that one for the entire championship.

Tracks: 
Round 1 - Watkins Glen (April 10th)
Round 2 - Misano (April 17th)
Round 3 - Norisring (April 24th)
Round 4 - Spa Enduro (May 1st)
Round 5 - Hampton Downs (May 8th)
Round 6 - Sebring (May 15th)
Round 7 - Mosport (May 22nd)
Round 8 - Bathurst Enduro (May 29th)

Weight Penalties:
There are no weight penalties for this league, however the organisers, at their discretion, can add weight to any specific driver where it deems necessary to even up the field.

Practice Night:
We will be having a practice night before the league starts.

Teamspeak:
It would be appreciated if all drivers could at least be in listen mode on Teamspeak, for the safety of all.
Please refrain from talking or chatting in game during qualifying. This can distract the other drivers who are trying to set a lap time.

Qualifying:
There will be qualifying for the first race. This will be a 10 minute open session.
You will be allowed 4 laps to qualify. Lap 1 to warm up, 2 x flying laps and a cool down lap. If you go over the 4 laps you will be put to the back of the grid.
The top 8 cars that finish the first race will be reversed for the second race, however to mix it up we may run a reverse grid race, or a random draw. Details on the night.

Warmup:
Yes. This will allow everyone a few minutes to cope with anything unforeseen. If drivers are ready warm-up will be by-passed.

Starts:
Standing start
(There will be no race restarts - but this is at the discretion of the organisers or if the majority rule)

Aids:
Traction Control: Low
ABS: Low
Auto Clutch: Yes
(TC and ABS are on low for beginners. It is recommended you turn these off).

Damage:
Damage will be set to 70%

Setups:
Open

Tires and Fuel:
Set to 2x

Penalties:
This is racing. Accidents will happen. However dangerous driving, driving causing accidents and not redressing etc will not be tolerated. The harshness of the penalty is at the discression of the organisers.
If you want an incident reviewed please PM the organiser with the relevant details.

Good stuff. You'll probly have 2 extra guys for this. Just curious what is the time difference to NZ?

Australia is 2 hours behind.

So give or take 9:45 race start. Probly asking many questions but more or less how long do guys run each race?

Track List has been updated.
The tracks I have chosen are tracks that are currently used by the various GT3 Championships around the world this year.

Any idea why I get HDV mismatch when joining server?

Sure did and I get it with all cars. Wouldn't be a track mismatch would it?

Last time we had a GT3 series, we released a fuel patch, so its separate to the main download.

Got the fuel patch from Outlaws but am still getting HDV mismatch. Any chance of changing track to see if it goes away? I read an trackconfig can cause it as well.

It will be the Fuel patch, the one from Outlaws will be different.
I uploaded the patch in the Sunday night File browser on T.S

The Watkins Glen track is now up, I wasn't sure what track version, long or short ?
I just put the long up.

Track has been changed to the version without the chicanes.

I'll be on for some practice tonight if anyone is around.
For the guys in NZ, the usual start time of 9.30pm still applies as Melbourne changed back from daylight savings the same as we did.

i'll need some practice after not racing for a few weeks.

Guys, I'm toying with the idea of having a one-off "Kiwi's vs. Aussies" enduro using the GT3's
I have yet to speak to the guys over at KSR but what are your thoughts? (Without the sheep jokes!).
I'll only organize something if there is enough interest.
