21st June, Boz Sprintcar TTR 2011 short series
Round 1 Silver dollar speedway. Chico ,California.
High banked 1/4 mile clay oval
This is a fast paced tight little bull ring, be ready for some close racing with these dirt throwing monsters.

Racing starts at 8pm Vic/NSW, 7pm Qld, 10pm NZ.

3 Heats. 12laps
dash (top points after heats, finish order is grid for feature) 8 laps
Feature race 30 laps

Round 1 tonight guys, all welcome. come for a play with us on the dirt.
Be on the server early for some prac. qually starts dead on 8pm Vic/NSW, 7pm Qld, 10pm NZ.

Hey Milo, sorry I can't make the race, going on a trip to Wandoan (bumfuck nowhere). Hope everyone has a blast with this interesting mod

I'll be there tonight but struggling to get fast enough not to be a speed hump for other cars. My appologise in advance if I get in anyones way. Most Tracks looping it trying to get out of the pits

Anyone know of way of enabling mirrors so I can atleast see you guys coming

Thats a good point Benny. Ive got one of my steering wheel buttons as a"look Behind" button. If anyone has any concerns about getting run over etc, this advice is for you. Just hold your line, if you are on the inside hold to the pole line and leave a car width to the outside of you on exit. if you on the outside, leave a car width to the inside of you through the corner. this is easyer said than done when most of the time you just trying to control the beast. also a good tip is to listen for the cars around you, turn up the volume for the other cars and turn yours down a bit. you can normally tell if a car is going high or low through the speakers.
This message also goes out to the fast guys, i want you guys to take you time through the traffic. this is a fun series, and if there is alot of carnage tonight we may have a small feilds towards the end.

PS, this is a small track so does create a bit of carnage, the other tracks should be much better suited for the beginner, that said everyone just needs to be aware of the drivers around them and have fun.

I'm going to sit this one out... I'm just not confident I can keep the flow going long enough not be a hindrance to everyone else.
I will try and get some more practice during the week and re-assess before the next round.....
