Re: Pre Spa 1988 WTCC
Looking forward to this race, it was the blue-riband touring car race in Europe at the time
The 1987 Spa event was a white-wash for BMW finishing 1-2-3, and a second place set Roberto Ravaglia up for his run to become the inaugural WTCC champ.
I'm in the 2m43s in the Supra, how about others?

Re: Pre Spa 1988 WTCC
So i've finished my skin, if anyone wants to d/l it they can below:
Mozza's Merc
Goes in the usual spot - C:\Program Files\rFactor\GameData\Vehicles\TCL\Mercedes\WTCC87
Naturally, if you want to keep the original skin, copy it somewhere else where you won't forget where you've put it!

Just remember you can't use this skin when you join the server, as it will give you a mismatch & kick you off it.

Re: Pre Spa 1988 WTCC
Sorry, I should have said.. Yeah I can, as it only replaces the original file that's there (No. 55 Merc, that I've picked). So if you download it, you see it, if you don't then you just see the original (and BORING! lol) plain white No. 55 Merc.

I'll admit i've never tried it, i was just of the impression that any personal changes to the mod uploaded onto the server resulted in a mismatch??
Great if it doesn't mismatch though, as you said the #55 Ecurie Motorsport Merc isn't the most colourful

One thing is shows is how they have butchered Spa (and other tracks) so much with the abundunce of tarmac runoffs these days....
At Spa 1988-style a mistake at Eau Rouge, Phoun or Blanchimont resulted in punishment for the driver (be it a crash, or getting bogged in the sand), whereas nowadays a mistake just leads to you running onto the tarmac run-off and re-joining without losing a place.....

Re: Pre Spa 1988 WTCC
you can install modified skins, as long as the file name stays the same as stock.
the image in the file doesnt affect anything. it just displays whats there.
just installed yur custom one Mozz. looks better.
