Teamspeak Or Ventrilo

Hey Guys Hypernia Have Offered us the New Teamspeak Server 3 if we want instead of the Ventrilo one.

Hi Everyone,

We've recently brought TeamSpeak 3 online and will be introducing it as a service available soon to the public. But before we do that, we want to give it a thorough test and allow current clients to be able to switch over it to now. We don’t believe we’ll find any major bugs with it, but if there happens to be one, we might have to reinstall and wipe anyone’s information that is currently on it (but we don’t think that will be the case.)

So if anyone is interested in switching to TeamSpeak 3 just let us know by support at support.hypernia.com and we’ll have you moved over. (your old voice server will also be deleted, if you're currently on TS2 no information will be moved over to TS3.)


We Had this one Teamspeak 2 Originally but we had some issues with it failing regularly but I have to admit I prefered the Teamspeak over the Ventrilo one when it worked.

So What do you guys think Stay with Vent or give Teamspeak other go

If I remember right, the old TS2 didn't have push-to-talk (PTT), whereas vent did... Or if it did, you couldn't program it onto the G25 wheel, you had to use a keyboard button, so I was a bigger fan of vent. However, TS3 does have PTT where you can program it into your wheel, so yeah.
Either way, I'm not concerned, I've got both installed. I believe the voice quality is better with TS3, but don't quote me!
