Pre Queensland Round

I can't wait for this race. I love the new track. It's so much better compared to the RD conversion.

Only tested with the default setup so far. 1.10 is my fastest.

I'm expecting to see times faster than this.

I've only done 5 laps and got down to a 1:06.7

This track is pretty easy lol. When I asked Benny what it was like on Saturday Night and he said a paperclip, I didn't know what he meant until I saw the loading screen 30 mins later lol

I'm racing this weekend.

Re-installed good old Windows XP and no problems with graphics anymore. haha.

Hi guys i like the new version of this track but it's A bit tougher as it punishes you a bit more if you use the kerbs so i found out, lol Anyway did a few laps with only 6 laps fuel on sprints and best i could do was 1:05:860 after about 30 laps.

Impressive, I did a few fully fueled laps and best was an 1:06.789. Knowing that you're coming along JD, I will do a few more laps after work tomorrow to get that time down!

Great time quickest I've seen when I've been on the server, have seen one the other night non member run in the low sixes but no 5's yet. Have only run fueled laps so far and a best of 1m 06.544. Have virtiual best in the mid 5's but couldn't manage it on a single lap.

I'm still trying to choose a gear ratio as the 3.7 feels great in the last sector but not so good through turn one. I find with 3.7 for me I need a 4 1/2 gear at the turn in turn one an find I'm to fast at entry or too slow then at the hair pin I find the 3.5 is more stable as well perfect second gear corner. saying that the 3.7 is perfect from after hairpin less wheel spin and good drive and perfect gearing for these corners.

We are talking tenths of a lap difference between the two so working on looks after everything better and less likely to have me make a costly mistake

Only managed 2 laps below 1:06 mate and wasn't easy. I wont be racing Saturday mate as i have my daughter's boyfriends 21st to attend sorry. Just had some spare time so i did a few laps to try and keep my eye in.

If i get time again tonight i will try and jump on around 7:30 and if anyone wants to do some practice i am keen. I will check my diff ratio Ben & see what i am running i think it was 3:50 but cant be certain. Will be interesting to see what i do on heavy race fuel, don't think it will be to flash.

Was trying but more than likely not going to make it maybe late tonight but unsure at this stage.

With the diff both work well but for me just looking every bit of consistency I can get

Had a good run tonight and managed to run a 1m06.158 on pretty much close to full fuel. I dont think I could really lap at the pace without destroying tyres but was happy to get the car around that quick.

Thanks to jd as I got this lap after sitting in his car and picking up a few tips on attacking couple of corners differently than I had been

I've gotten in some more praccy and now getting the odd 1:05.9 in race spec

ive done alot of laps and i can only get a 1.10 not lookin good for me lol

i am confuse.

is there no USA round tonight?

They are back next week we use series like the USA to fill the gap between the real v8 supercar calendar So we are at Queensland new track version

i cant remember, does v8's use the sls system?
