Sounds great Wally on both accounts
The '87 DTM should provide alot of different cars with a chance to win with the lack of Sierra's and Commodore's etc...

Can anything be done about 635 crashing servers?
These cars are fun to drive and it's a shame we can't pick them

The thing is. Nobody of us ever figured out what was the issue with the 635's.
I really would like to help you guys with this problem, but i absolutely have no clue what on earth is causing this problem. Is there anything referring to this problem in the error trace file?
btw, i would like to thank you folks for sticking with TCL for such a long time and not supporting the TCM rip-off.

Can only echo what the others have said, i'm not interested in the rip-off either.
You guys at TCL produced the mod of my dreams, will stick with it till the end
Its wrong the person/people who made what was originally supposed to be a racedepartment.com only private league mod, spread it round with no regard for the original, and seemingly claim it all to be their own work... i think they were even talking about rf2...

Re: TCL Releases
That's the arrogance that is Racedepartment though.
I've run with some top notch fellas in GT Legends events, but the r-Factor and GTR-Evo crowd are.... well, they're a joke. Arrogance doesnt even begin to describe the majority!

Re: TCL Releases
Completely agree Mozza! I've only run in the V8 series, but they mutilate the mod and brand tracks with their advertising all over the place, without actually adding anything of value.
I almost cried when I saw Bathurst plastered with their logos.
The driving standards aren't up to scratch compared to TTR as well, despite having a complicated system of penalties run by anal retentives!

Re: TCL Releases
Well, thanks to a lot of sites being taken down after the Megaupload thing, most downloads are now offline.
I don't know of any link for the v1.1 full anymore, but the v1.0 and the 1.1 patch are still up on Fileserve.
http://www.fileserve.com/file/M4MdSm4
http://www.fileserve.com/file/geKRFdS
I hope those will work for you.

Re: TCL Releases
The American government has shut down as well as many other voluntary shut down there sharing sites so links that worked last week might not next week so they aren't always aware they have gone down. We can't host a download this size for full web access as I hosting package would go over its limit and shut our site down

Re: TCL Releases
Tcl isn't our mod tman is only just recently come back after a couple of years away we are just supplying him some forum space so he can answer some questions for his planned new releases. He supplied the links above that currently work happy to help with any other questions you have but Tcl Facebook has nothing to do with us so we can't change anything there. If you look in TTR downloads we have all tcl options in there for our members

Re: TCL Releases
ALL of you involved, are involved in the last GREAT project for rfactor (IMHO)..the "ressurection" of this mod, is no doubt the biggest news for the sim comunity for quite sometime...these are true glory times that deserve to be represented in the sim comunity..it's a good way of finishing rfactor times in beauty...i hope someday we can have them in a more recent platform (like rfactor2, when sorted)..till then..pure driving nirvana!
A BIG THANKS to ALL

Re: TCL Releases
Hey GP96 I don't know what to say or do for you. TMAN is a developer for the mod we let him use some space on the forum this section so he could answer questions. He answered your question on where to get the mod and then I explained about the hosting sites going down where his downloads had been went down and why his original links didn't work. Not sure what else you want us to do for you

Re: TCL Releases
hi, gp. Im sure you can understand that alot of things gave gone on with upload sites over the past couple months. So, alot of people are having trouble finding links for a lot of mods.
TTR is not the creator of the mod, so we are very lucky to have the links and packs that we do. For the ones that you cant get right away, you might just have to be patient and wait for a link to sorted out.

Hello dear Fans of Touring Car Legends.
For more than half a decade, you helped us out with lots of informations, pictures, workforce and plenty of kind words. With the mods original release a few years back we accomplished something we never could have imagined when we started in 2005. We got to know new people, made friends and some of us stayed this way until today.
Despite some minor and major problems related and non-related to the project we put all our passion and dedication into creating a piece of virtual art, consisting of cars that weren't featured in any other game till then - The cars we grew up with. Most of us remember seeing them on the TV back in the days and how we enjoyed them. TCL was our way of reviving those glory days of racing. Five months ago the mod had it's "second spring" with the release of two more cars and a whole bunch of new paintjobs. But like every era has to end, it's now the time for all of us to say goodbye to this mod. We came to the conclusion that regardless of the progress on the unreleased cars there will be no further releases for Touring Car Legends. It wasn't the easiest decision to take for us, but we all knew that it would happen some day.
We would like to thank all of you for the support over the last seven years, without you we never could have made it. We hope you had as much fun driving those cars as we had building them

Re: TCL Releases
If we Could get this Models in whatever state I would be happy to keep trying to learn the moddeling process to get them finished. This may take a long time bu atleast there would be a chance of getting them out there.
I'll email Marcel about it and ask the question.

Re: TCL Releases
I have email Marcel to ask if there is a possiblity of TTR finishing these vehicles.
If the answer is yes we would need members to assist with this project. This is not something one person would want to take on by themselves. I think we have members with ability and passion to put this project together.
I have been trying to learn 3d Modelling on and off for a couple of months as Marcel gave me permission to have a go at using the VK out Of TCL to atempt to create the VK GroupC to add to the package. Massive job though and big learning curve.
I'm not sure where there work was at it, if it was phyics and Skins we have the members here that we could deal with imediately. Modeling we would need a few people to work with me to learn a this process better to finish the project.
