Great final round!!

Managed to qualify in 2nd spot behind Setvo. With a 1:49.3, he got -100 on me. GRR.

Finished second in race one. Behind CortyGT. Very good racing.

Started Race 2 in second last place due to reverse grid. Gained a lot of places early, few ppl fell off the track here and there, managed to get up to 6th spot fighting with Peter308 right to the finish line. Came home in 6th place.

The third race was the best HQ race i have done. Starting sixth, i gained some places and ended up behind CortyGT and GrpcA. We were bumper to bumper the whole race. Them two changed spots a couple times here and there and i was sitting at the back waiting for any opportunity to pounce on a mistake. There weren't many at all.
Very clean and respectful racing for 20mins, drafting the whole time cm's apart at times. I made a few errors and bumped into Corty a couple times, but nothing dangerous.
Later in the race GrpcA forgot to brake and speared off into the dirt at the hairpin. And i took off chasing CortyGT. Got pretty close there and i had a couple chances to slot into 1st but i took some bad lines and gave back the spot. GrpcA managed to catch up again but never challenged towards the end. I came in second behind CortyGT. Who drove very well.

Great race guys. A bit scary not being able to see the apex coming up cos i had a face full of boot lid, but we all managed to get by relatively safely.

I had an incident with Setvo in the earlier races, we came together and both spun. Not sure if it was my fault or what, if so i am sorry.

Also sorry to KwikKiwi for spinning him around. I slowed to let him by, but still feel bad lol. Just got to close is all.


Great series GrpcC and Benny, these cars are truly horrid, but they are addictive and very fun to race in. Practice even sent me over the edge for a while, trying to eek out .120 of a second.


Congratulations to GroupCAction for the championship win!!! 40 or so points ahead is a crushing victory.
Well done Wally on grabbing 3rd place.

Last and least, GO ME! for taking 2nd place in the series!! I know its only hq's but im friggin happy.

I don't know why all of a sudden I'm having problems with the HQ's the game just freezes on me every so often. Had no problems at Wakefield, Oran Park or Eastern Creek but Surfers and here were a much different story. I'm dissapointed because I did have some good races with this mod and I had some good pace. I did manage 3 laps in race 2 tonight and I was having a great battle with Group C for the lead but the game froze on the hairpin. Look forward to having a crack at the DTM series. Thanks to everyone that organised and partcipated in the series.

Missed race 1 as i was taking shots of an amazing sunset here in Syd... DOH

Race 2 started 1st, had a great dice with DV_8 until his computer dropped or froze, was a real shame cause he was driving really strong, pretty sure he had my measure too. I held on for a victory

Race 3 i started 1st again... From turn 1 it was on between myself, Corty & Shayn... we battled the complete 20mins nose to tail... I had a dive at Corty but outbroke myself n ran wide, letting Shayn through... I tried to catch back up to the 2 rascals but to no avail.
WD Corty... great driving, great win!! Hope to see more of you around, a very hard but fair racer!

Shayn you are now a top flight racer... Top driving bud... Can't wait to race door to door with you again in coming seasons!!!

Absolutely great racing here

Had alot of fun racing with you guys here and will be staying around for future championships, if all good that is.

I think cars like these HQ's are great, although they are slow but with a track full of cars they are as fun as any car and also gives the slower guys a chance as well.

well done corty on the championship win.........good fun raceing the queeeees....i was only involved for the last 2 race nights and had a ball ....must thank benny for the setup for last nights race ...without it i would have been a lot slower.....ive only been raceing online for about 14months or so and to get my first podium finish thrilled this older bugger right down to his toes....thanks again benny and ttr

Next week we start Z-Cars which is old school minis with motorcycle engines in the rear.
They have 205 bhp so they are pretty quick.
They should be good fun.
