1st race I had 3rd in the bag, stevo had more pace in places but i keept 3rd from him, untill the last turn last lap i spun, and got 4th
2nd race
had some isues with my eye again (was at doctor today because of it) ended up in the sand , then spaz and a few others went off, i think i put them off , came last couldnt get it together
3rd race was right with kiwi most of the race , was full on, then tyres went off and battled to the end with dano and billy bob, good fun race,

Re: Post - Jerez de la Frontera
That was a classic moment on teamspeak when you all went off into the sand, come to QLD the beaches are nicer here (though damp at the moment)
Started from pits in R1, up to 7th, nothing to report really.
R2 kiwi and I were being frisky in the opening lap, he nudged me into the hairpin and I nudged him out of it... and his car decided it wanted to be a helicopter. Unfortunately he didn't make it.
Epic clean battles with GroupCAction in races 2 and 3, and CortyGT in race 3, when he was actually with us. Mini was making me miss apices with his chat and then corty started warping, which must have been fun for GroupC who was battling with him at the time!
Now there's 1 point in it between cortygt and me...... looking forward to next race, the minis really shined on the tighter track

Re: Post - Jerez de la Frontera
I really enjoyed my night.
Race1
I made steady progress to 5th place. The highlight of this race was the last couple of laps after battling with Kiwi, Webber caught us after having started from the pitlane. I knew I had to get a bit defensive as there's so much room to get by when yoiu're in a mini. I simply made sure I owned the apexes of each corner and slowed the other two down leading on the the quicker bits. I was stoked with 5th.
Race2
I made a decent start to stay in the top 5 early on. Not long after I had M1n1k0b3 on my tail and then battling for position, we fought hard for a couple of laps there going side by side through most of the lap. That's what makes these cars great racers, there's always racing room.
I was stoked again to take 5th.
Race3
This wasn't very eventful, I drove really hard setting my PB time but still only managed 8th.
It was a great night overall, I'm really looking forward to the rest of the rounds. Gold Coast should be really interesting next week with changeable conditions.

Oh yeah forgot about that in R1 Dano, you and Kiwi defended brilliantly there, I was trying everything to get past! Great work!

Couldnt ask for much better results for me with 2x 1st and a 2nd in the last.
Didnt seen to get into rhythm in the last, stuffed up about 3 laps in a row then just cruised to the end.
Great track and cant wait for the next.
Any chance of changing the track from dry to wet by day to day until race night ?

Nice one Corty.
Yep we can probably do that. My plan for when I'm on the server practising is to change evry half hour or something like that.
But I'll make a point of swapping it day by day when I leave the server. But if you see it the same day after day you can probably jump on team speak and you'll usually find an admin there who may be willing to swap it.

Great night Dano... perfect track choice for this mod...
Had to download and learn this track the night before race night....
Had incidents in race one and two... but also had some awesome battles....
Had a better run in race 3 and a fought hard to keep Kris behind me.... and a flying M1N1K0B3 on the last two corners..
Thanks again Dano for hosting a top nights racing!
