Post Adelaide
There wasn't many of us last night but I think all of us had a great time.
Race one
After qual thought I'm no hope of getting any where near Corty and webber with the fantastic speed but in the race I managed to say with in 4 secs of them until a spin on the last corner dropped me back another 6 secs finished 3rd and was prett happy with that
Race two
Got a crap start and dano and I had a good battle for a few laps I made it past last turn but then cut the chicanne turn one majorly out braking myself so let dano back through. Got past later that lap and was making a break till I had a big spin. From here I tried my best to catch back up to dano and close the 10 sec gap got within 2.7 seconds as we crossed the line
Race three
Had some fortune with Corty and webber both spinning and handing me the lead. Corty had a second spin and dropped right to the back. With Corty and webber not fighting for position if they had it would have been different as they are 1 and 2 in the points I would have got out the way.I took the opportunity to make webber earn the position and held him out for a quite a few laps ( he was probably playing with me but it felt great to fight with someone of his talent) Along the way I caught the curb second last corner and had one of the biggest saves of my sim racing the video doesn't do it justice otherwise I would post it. Webber eventually got through on the back straight and then corty last lap did the same.
Great night racing really enjoying this series I don't want it to finish but one to go

Re: Post Adelaide
In a rush to get to work but just need to say, I was following right behind Benny in race 3 and working to get past him when he had his moment in the second last sweeping right hander.
These things are pretty much unrecoverable once you get more than 30 degrees sideways. Benny clipped the kerb and must have been at least 60 degrees around, I immediately knew he was going to rotate and it was game over for him.
Somehow, amazingly, he managed to wrestle the car not only straight again, but also into a decent line for the next corner, without losing any time.

Yeah OOPSY!
Sorry Obbzy and anyone who was mislead by the main post.
It seems I suffered brain failure and missed the 14th of feb off the schedule.
Please reply here if you stayed away because of the incorrect schedule. We'll rerun the event if need be.

Sorry Dano, I didn't make it because I am still setting up my gear....
Maybe people thought you left out the 14th because it was Valentines Day!!!

Yeah that's what I guessed Kiwi about your not making it.
I might have left it out because of valentines day on a subconscious level but it wasn't intentional.

The no pre race topic was just laziness on my part.

Re: Post Adelaide
I was just 'unlucky' that I read the race calendar...normally I would've just jumped
straight onto the server. I'm only racing when I can, so Hungaroring next week
sounds good... if I can make it. Mental note to self...."jump on server and look next
time, just in case".
Catch yas soon
