Post Talledaga

Big fast super speedway that was basically full throttle racing with slipstreaming being the only way to gain any advantage.
Some nice close racing with six or more cars swapping positions at the front with lots of three wide cornering.
Qualifying is so important at a track like this because as i found trying to pass shano in race 1, even if you get a good draft and gain up to 5-10 kmh speed advantage as long as the leader stays low you are forced to take the long way around and risk the car behind shutting you out of the queue and then you only go backwards.

Back to the road courses where i expect to see much tighter competition now that we've all cut our teeth at road america.

Perhaps just for fun a longer run.. maybe combine three 15 mins into 0ne 45 and throw in a pitstop??... just a thought.

Yeh, was a good night, i got hit in the first 2 races which ruined my races.

3rd race was ok, coming in 2nd behind bob, and as you said billy, once the leader holds that bottom line, there is no way past, I tried dropping off and getting a run, didn't work. But that was the closest I got to getting infront of you.


I think on a big track like that, a pit stop is the way to go, it just mixes things up and is the best way a lead change is possible...also that way, it's a good chance for a couple of drivers to get together and do some slipstreaming to get the chase car.

Road america, wooo! awesome circuit, looking forward to it.
