Woohoo... got the G27 today!


Now have to learn how to drive again....

Didn't realise it would such a difference..... (in a good way)

Have to change how i use the pedals too.... i am (was) a left foot braker.... now with the extra pedal........... well you can probably guess the rest

And my set ups are going to need adjusting.....

Looks good kiwi did you have g25 before. I see you have got the fan on the dash just need one of those steering wheel spinner on the wheel for single handed driving and the conversion will be finished

Not to mention the shrine to the Hindu god of your choice, preferably complete with bright flashing lights and beads

Benny... had the Logitech Momo Wingman .... was the top wheel before the G25 came out... has all the leather and stainless bits as well..

Webber.... that would be the FORD shrine currently under construction

This is my basic setup at the mo. Although Ihave plans for it to get much better

This is my little setup, it's changed a little since I took the photo but you get the idea. I've moved th BenQ 24" LED to the rig and bought myself an ASUS 27" for 'work'

G25 is getting very close to death, it's got so loud now I can hear it with my headphones on, I might look at the new Fanatec GT2 if I ever get the nod from the minister of finance.

Very nice setup Craigus. Wish i had a decent setup like that. Here is my crappy setup. Nothing special just sit at my computer desk.

good to see you found us dude, love your setup, did you build your station or buy it already set up

i have a 19inc screen, not a wide screen, ive wondered if the wide screens show more than 1/2 the interior and 1/2 the right mirror??

I think you'll need 2 screens to see all the left side of the car but on the 24" I can see the entire right mirror without even moving the seat all the way back

Yeh kris you can always adjust your in car seating position to show more of your mirrors.

You can also adjust the field of view (FOV) to stretch the camera and allow more to be seen.

this my setup needs alot of tweakin still but doin the job... 50 inch 3d plasma... got to get racing seat can so ditch stupid desk
