GroupC you might have a Commodore teammate here... Depends on what Racer does since he'll be unstoppable in the Sierra and we can't let that happen

This weekend is long weekend nsw plus rugby grandnfinal and the following no one will be sober

So how will quali work benny? Will the server be reset on the Sunday morning abd then we use live racers to determine top 10 for the shootout?
Also, with the drivers teaming up, does only 1 driver do quali or what's the go?
Shano in.a Rolla, 100% confirmed. He just texted me his confirmation. Lol

Server will be set that the only car he can enter is te rolla

Qual from when I get up Sunday will change the name so new live racers kicks off top ten shoot out at 7:00pm

I will setup a teams section and all teams must nominate there qual driver pre Sunday. Any team not nominating a driver and both do qual the slowest time will count

Looks like 3 hours of fun, have the week off before so lots of practice in the skyline. Does anyone know if there are other cars being done for tcl? Jaguar, Maserati, Gazelle?

The Rover is pretty slow around here...but I'm still tweaking my setup.
Did a couple of laps yesterday and managed a 2.24...but it is a long race...

Yeah, I got a 2:23.... I may have to tweak it a little more, but the car does handle o.k. though.

Yep. I did have a really good setup for the Rover at Bathurst but lost it when I built the new PC. It was easy on tires and I could get 2 stints out of them. If you can get the Rover to turn in without the back wanting to step out all of the time it will be quick over the top. Unfortuntately you cannot stay with the Turbos or Holdens down Conrod...
Remember its a 3 hr race and its not won in the first 30 minutes. Ultra fast lap times won't mean much unless you can maintain them for the whole race.

Out of interest will there be Yellows for the race? That would add a whole lot more strategy for the race...

I would love to have it throw a safety car during the race but haven't played with it enough to set sestivety correctly for event we can do it push a button to call safety car but means admin would know when it is coming so be an in far advantage

If there were a program that could set a random timer to go off say twice in over the three hours I would be all for a call a safety car function to be done for the event

There is a way to set the senistivity where the usual rubbing etc is fine, but a major will bring the saftey car out.
I wil see if one of the KSR guys can remember how to do it...

There is But the Hitting the wall through over the mountain is where I think will bring it out to quickly. We tired it out in nascar and the only way we could really get it to work was push button to call when the incident was bad enough. The other thing it does i believe is open up the Blue flag rules to the point you get a penalty very easily

Another thing i found with implementing a safety car in online games is that the penalties for not following the car infront close enough can be pretty random. Some were getting penalised when right behind the car infront, others were dropping back and getting away with it


The other thing is that, over the course of 3 hours, the Mercs and M3s will be able to make at least 1 stop less than the Sierra's etc... over the race distance (based off previous TCL enduro's at Bathurst we've done here), and random safety cars will nulify the their chances of getting into the mix

Hi all..

Due to some server issues this Thursday's round is postponed & next Thursday was a week off so replacing it will be an official practice night for the 2 enduro's.

It will be good to see a couple of people on and hopeful a chance for people to catch up over TS as well getting very excited about these 2 events should be awesome

Ahh, mostly high 22s in race spec.

I did get a couple low 21s. With 21.2 my best so far.

That should come down with qual setup though, haven't tried yet.

after last nites 3 hr race this tcl 1 is gonna be epic...

we should organise a tcl vs v8 supercar 6 hr race...

6hrs? That's just silly talk. The last V8 enduro i did was like 2hrs here.

Mine? Either Shaynskyline to cause an upset, or Team 13cabs in their No. 6 Mobil Sierra to come home strong due to their fresher drivers

Got some practice in last night and pretty happy with where I'm at with the merc got down to a 2m20.5 still isn't at the pace of mozza in the merc but pretty much four seconds quicker than where I was last week.

20.5 is a damn good time Benny, and you'll find on race night you'll be closer than you think!

I'm getting better but still as always struggle through reid park to carry consistent speed I can end up about 15 klms down which then translates all the way across to skyline. The setup which mozza kindly gave me is fantastic everywhere but I find if I touch the inside curbing at this turn It is all over for me so guess I find my self being a little conservative through here. I have now finally got mcphillamy park nailed but unless I get the two previous corner right I can't match the speed I can carry through mcphillamy park.

Braking Mozza you are so much stronger but I'm I think this is where I am able to look after the tyres a little better which should enable me to run mediums for the race, with the Mediums I am getting great drive out of the importand corners.

aka Bersly or Webber... Good thing i had Ray Lintott's phone number still, so we've fired up the old Valvoline Sierra. Feeling good on full tanks and tyres... It's alittle hairy over one lap but will feel great over race trim.

Favourites for me... Corty, Webber & Racer ... BUT anyone who successfully does 3hrs is a winner in my book!! Gonna be a long hard slog

Floydie and Yaystenny are going to be strong as well but no one looking at this stage getting close to the 2m13.7 I saw last night and the scarey thing being that they have barely turned a lap in rfactor for 2 months if he gets through the traffic I'm sure he will clear out.
