I wish Groupcaction but as far as I know Tman has not approved the released if this one as he does not believe it matches the standards of the other vehicles they have released.

A shame as probably never will be finished I asked about us getting it finished finding some that could 3d model for us and hand it back for approval even for them to release it but tman wasn''t keen on it so we would have to start it from scratch.

If we could actually find a modeller I would love to have the VN and VP as well as EA & EB done as well. I would happly pay for there service

Given it's a "WTCC" series and not so much an "ATCC" series, Benny, do we open it up to all skins EXCEPT for ATCC...? Add's a few different colours and the like. All the same cars, just their Euro liveries instead...

Was thinking earlier, we could run a custom skin pack. Skin our own cars and whatnot. I know we had trouble a while ago with that but I think that was because we were just replacing original files with skinned ones... I.dunno, just another different thing to consider I guess. For those that don't want a custom skin, they can let us know which original tcl skin they want for us to include in the skin pack....

We have always run customskins at KSR. If you contact Sully he may be able to help you out.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Great reason to make a new skin.

Thing is will enough people care about skins enough to make their own?
Not everyone has the knowledge or programs etc to make one, or the effort lol.

And if only a couple people do it, then is it worth everyone DLing the new skins etc blah blah.

I think itd be awesome to get a field of completely unique skins but yeah. Just making it work would be the only thing.

its easy to create a skin, get photoshop somehow. download a .dds converter and go for gold!

I think it would be easy to have custom skins, the easiest way I think is to have a small addon download that contains everyone's skins + veh files to avoid conflicts etc. The veh files would have WTCC12 or something added to keep everything simple.

I am pretty experienced with skins and would be happy to take requests and create something from a vague description.

Yeh that's what I was thinking mate, have an additional tab that is 2013 wtcc or something.

I was just having a bit of a play around and came up with this. As I said above I'm happy to do skins for anyone who needs one, that is of course if we do go ahead with the custom skin idea.

are the templates available in the TCL DL ? I cant seem to find them the only ones I find are already painted

just pick one with a base colour if your lucky, make it black n white and then increase brightness to create template

Not overly experienced in skins done a couple a while back that turned out pretty good but i'll give it a crack really hope I can make most of these rounds killer track line up

I've never painted from a template, i've always painted by copying and then modifying an existing skin. How do templates work? Are they straight forward or are there any tricks to know?

David, templates are pretty straight forward and you get much better results. I'll flick you an email over weekend with a few hints and tips.

For the Sunday Jan Series remember all skins were meant to be in by today but will extend this till friday
