20 racers on the first night. Lets hope we can maintain the numbers. Great racing.
I had some pace in practice with the Alfa i just couldn't translate it to the race.

Was a great nights racing, very close field 'possibly the closest field i've raced in'
might have to make server hold more people for the next race and for those that missed out heres a few snapshots!

Good fun tonight. Had only done 1 night practice and was more competitive than I expected.
Race 1 was like old KSR days, running behind Sulley, and having a recovering Growler go past then fall off again ... Didn't quite have the pace to catch the Bob / Sulley duel, and had a late race snooze which meant I dropped a spot on the last lap.
Not so good in race 2, got a tiny tap into T1 which unsettled the rear end, then got squeezed onto grass by someone coming from outside line to apex and dropped to the back of the field. IMHO racing incident.
Sorry to Stevo for the early braking on lap 3 at Clearways, I braked early as the 3 cars just in front of me were coming up to a slow Alfa and I was expecting an accident.
What's the rule here about using the grass to pass? Noticed one car jump two spots after they out-braked themselves at Surtees then rejoined just before start of the back straight.

Had a reasonable run, it's shaping up to be a very good series. I put in a personal best lap in qualifying to go 7th which I was pretty happy with. I went for mediums all round in race 1 which I think was the wrong move, I think I ended up in 8th.
Had bad luck early in race 2 as I ran into Billy after he rejoined the track. That set me back a bit and I spent the rest of the race trying to catch Sulley and the other dudes around him. I got the margin down a bit before Dean and others slipped back to me and I had to try hold them off, which I did and I think I ended up 9th.

Great nights racing and thanks for all who were in attendance.
I'll put the results up on Wednesday, giving everyone a chance to register on sls.
I had a very different two races.
Qualified second and was running second in Race 1 before i made a simple mistake and spun off, then went off again later trying too hard to get back to where i was...
Race 2 though i was involved in a great race long dice with both Corty and GroupCAction, lots of passing and we barely touched paint once, great fun.
See you all next week for Oulton.

Epic racing on Sunday night, very enjoyable!!
I qualified pretty well but I tried to stay out of trouble in the early laps of both races so was a bit cautious and a bit slow (so apologies to those guys who were tripping over me). I didn't want to make an a$$ of myself on my first night. I had a two top dices in R2, one with two Alfa's of AUS-Chris_Rx and Sulley and then a mega battle with Growler in the Merc. Fell off all by myself twice taking myself out of the top 6 or 7 and I think I ended up 11th in both races. Hardly any paint exchanged either!
Can't wait for next weekend

What a good start to the league. 20+ drivers makes for some good battles!
Race 1
I thought I had qualified well, but due to the whole field covered by about 1.5 seconds I was towards the back of the pack.
I had a good start and gained a few places. I got into 10th or 11th and was doing well until I spun. I then spent the rest of the race trying to get back to where I was.
Congratulations to Nuty for beating me!
Race 2
Reverse grid. I was placed third next to FCDean, who would have been my main rival. I managed to get the Merc off the line and beat him to the first corner. We then spent the next few laps fighting for 1st position, until the top guys passed us. I then spent most of the race battling with Chris in the M3. We seemed to be evenly matched overall. It was great clean racing! It would have been a close drag race to the finish line if I hadn’t been so sideways coming out of the last corner!
At one point I had to avoid FCDean as he was 2-wheeling down the back straight showing off his stunt driving skills…
