F1 DRS and KERS issues

just thought i'd create a separate one as i kknow they'll be more than one having a hard time setting this up.

ive installed the plugin and assigned the keys to it but i still cant get it to work.

HELP please

do start up hv first then rfactor? And only thing about the kers and drs is that I think it may only work on tracks that only have that enabled.

when i tired it it stuffed my copy rf.. glad i used a back up copy first

Spot on moo but the coming rounds do support it.

Kers will probably be introduced before DRS however there is a lot of issues with it.. It needs to be tested properly before we implement it fully.

I will post up details soon of how I got KERS to work

um as soon i can download the mod because last time ii did i had everything working drs/kers rfe the lot!

Aus-Chris and I have got Kers&Drs working you will need to DL the below file

rF_HighVoltage_V1.4.0.1.zip

once installed into your rfactor folder run the HighVoltage EXE in the HighVoltage folder.. load rfator get into the F1 Mod and jump out the HighVoltage console should say ready you will then need to goto options and set a button on your wheel for both drs and kers once you have done that in rfactor set the same button you set for Kers as the temp boost button and the drs button to the headlights button from there you should be good to go (restarting rfactor may be nessasary)

if you have any issues let us know as DRS and Kers will only apply to this round if everyone can get it up and running

We havnt made it as far as RFE (Yet) maybe implement RFE after Sepang and before China

i forgotten how to make it so high voltage reads my plr.file is there a option to change the directerity ??

I'm pretty sure FCDean was having a similar issue but I'm not exactly sure what the problem Is, Do either of you use separate installs for different mods ?? I'm pretty sure FCDean said it maybe a windows 8 issue is that correct... I had no issues with the .PLR file maybe someone else can chime in ??

um its using the admin account where i want i normal one which is thorughtthe main folder itself i just forgooten how to do it shame there aint that much options.

With mine i know where my .plr file is, it is in the appdata file in the virtual store on windows (same as windows 7)
Trouble is i cannot change the high voltage program to look in that folder to find it.

I had similar issues with other things on windows 7 but usually i could fix that by taking ownership over the file, windows 8 i have no luck.

just got it working had to delete my plr file for admin oh man cant wwait......

when ever i load high voltage it makes rf run at 20 30fps hence why i aint using it

i tried running everything on Min and it still just kills my fps.... i realllllllly don't know why

you dont really loose much by not using it in the race, mainly qually where you'll lose out with drs.
chance of actually being within 1 sec of the guy infront of you is pretty slim, i never used drs at sepang and my gearing slowed me down as it was geared for higher speed with drs assistance.

Not too sure I'm running a resolution of 5760x1080 (3x 24" monitors on eyefinity) I was have fps issues but turned just the DirectX down to 8 and antialising down to 2 and it works ok everything else in game is set to max, Sublime was having frame rate issues too last round but turned down DirectX to 8 or even 7 and it worked fine.
