Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
Hey Chris to answer your question just do a fresh install of rfactor and get the 1991 f1 classic mod 2.1 so it will definitely work.
Thanks Marty

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
Update !!
The date for this has been moved to this Sunday night (23rd Feb)
In the day they did 45 laps, so ill set the server to that.
Also ive put the Hockenheim 1988 track up on the server.
Maybe we can do spa the week after if everyone is keen ?

you will need a bit of testing to get to know this track well, especially the 1st and 2nd chicane!

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
Well I lasted 4 laps or so, tapped the nose on a wall and blew the engine !!
Was only missing the front wing, how does that work ? engine is in the back isnt it ? lol

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
I really enjoyed the race last night even though there were only three of us running at the end. I managed a PB 42.7 with a few laps to go. I had a couple of spins and managed to take my rear wing off at the second chicane, but still managed consistent 44's and some 43's throughout.
Congrats to Aus-Phil on his first podium and Aus-Chris for the win. I thought I might be on for my first win last night, but Chris was too good again! I was pretty much driving to stay on the lead lap. 45 laps of Hockenheim is pretty hard work in one of these cars!
I also need to get a bigger monitor, the little 19" job just isn't cutting it when it comes things are happening so quickly in the F1 mods...

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
I enjoyed it too until a bollard jumped out in front of me.
The first one took a front wheel away. Cruising around to the last chicane I hit oil from Cortys blown engine and lost another 2 wheels. Car was toast.
I have a 27" monitor. You can see lots of action!

Good on you blokes for hanging around and spectating till the end. Probably wasn't the most spectator friendly racing we've ever had
I need to turn my screaming engine volume down a bit so I can hear the banter on Teamspeak. I wasn't ignoring you guys.
Monitor shopping as we speak.....

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
Well done to Chrisrx for the win, CD and Phil for there podiums, would have loved to be there until the end.
I did stick around and watch it, there were quite a few hairy moments for all of you lol.
Hoping to have a better run at spa this Sunday
Ive got a 42" screen in front of me, my head is about 1.2 meters away from the screen. If you got the room then go as big as you can CD.
Nutybolts uses a 50" but for me that is too big lol.

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
the race was very tough, i had a bit of an acco and had to pit after the first lap and then drove qually laps to try and catch billy bob who was doing an outstanding drive out in front. the attrition was quite high and it seem the littlest of pressure would through people off track. any way got into first and tried to lap CD! reduced the wing and radiator with 10 laps left to try and reel him in

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
spa will definately be tough, eau rouge has no room for error.
any way of turning tyre wear up to 3X as the tyre wear is very very minimal.

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
Ok so ive set the Fuel to 3x & Tyres to 3x
Also put the damage down to 40%
They did 44 laps back in the day, do we want to leave it at that ?

Re: TTR F1 Schumacher Classic
3rd place very happy with that. well dun to Chrisrz on the win and Billy Bob on 2nd pace. 44 laps hard to do with out smashing up your car to much.
