Yes...have to say I've been looking forward to this one...

using the above IP address to try get in for some practise, but no joy.... any ideas?

I was really keen for this one, I even practiced for it. I had rto practice offline because i couldn't access the server.

Now i see that it's a 75 minute race, i think i'll give it a miss. I've been rolling around on the floor all day under the 'rolla and i don't think i can sit for 75 minutes.

Oh yes the IP has changed sorry.

Keep refreshing or follow this guide so the game searches for more servers:


Make sure you check your "multiplayer.ini" file.
it is located in these folders:
rfactor\userdata\yourname\multiplayer.ini

open that file and look for this line:
Concurrent Server Updates="400"

Change it to this:
Concurrent Server Updates="999"

Really enjoyed the format last night especially the 75min race !

I got to a great start, didn't think id have the pace of the Elans, but my lead before the pits was growing.
When it was time to pit, I forgot to turn the damage off and spent over 3 minutes sitting still.
Made a few mistakes after that trying to make time and blew the engine on the last lap on the straight before the last corner 
Even though I had a bad race, I had allot of fun.

Also after last night, we only have one more 75min race in the last round.
I now thinking of making the Surfers Paradise round a 75min race, what do you guys think ?

all keen for the longer race. tend to do well in enduros.

I don't think the tracks with long straights makes it an even keel.
At Longford both DV-8 and myself got left behind.
There seems to be no advantage in the pits either as it takes around 2 1/2 minutes just to add fuel and change the tires.
What version of Surfers are you going to run?

Yeah you 2 blokes had no chance especially DV8
Im not a fan of 75 mins myself. I reckon half hour max for champship races, the more starts the better.

Yes its the 1984 track, Chrisrx made it 

First half of the lap is all straights, but the last half is all corners, so it may be more even then Longford ?

Good track, it suits these cars.

I don't mind the odd longer race, the Mini was completely useless around Longford but it's been competitive at every other track so far. The only part I didn't like was the 2 CPS, I think with a race of that length you don't need to have them and it may bring the smaller cars back into it a bit.

i think the 2 cps is to keep the jag in the race

7 out of 11 drivers led a lap of the longford race. thats pretty cool. think it mainly came down to strategy and damage. took it easy during the night so i didnt need to repair anything.

Was a great race though, tempo was much slower, even more so when it went dark, but it was nice to almost cruise around in the big stately Jag. Just as well, as Longford doesn't really agree with running two-wide everywhere! With regard to more 75min races, I could go for it. I'd probably vote for 1 CPS though, I would be better off and it'd be good if it helps the Fiat and the Mini
