mint nights racing
thanks for the night kiwi, must be added pressure on you, so top job bro
thanks benny for helping me with a setup in the arvo, those sets definitely help make a good nights racing
11 cars and was all clean but fast as racing, awesome
3rd race 2nd corner from the race start i hit someone hard, "sorry for that", 3 cars wide i think? into that corner, was hard to see the braking markers
anyone else notice that bump on the outside of the last long corner before the Chicane that biffed the car ?

Re: post Snetterton
Hey Guys
Last Week at Zolder Myself and Kiwi observed most drivers over using the curbs including both of us at times. This week we let everyone know prior to
the race to make sure you have one wheel on the bitumen at all times.
So I had a quick look this morning at the replays and this is what I found see pictures. This was race two only and 75% of people was able to find a sample within a two laps. The Reason for posting is not to have a go at anyone purely to let everyone know
where there cars are on the track and to be aware of this and please be
careful in the future. Some are more often than others but we have all done it during the race last night. For some it would have been sliding or braking late etc as the reason we were over the curb, others might not quite be 100% where there car is running from the view they run with.
Heading into Next round wanted everyone to please just watch there lines and do your best to keep one wheel on the bitumen at all times regardless of the size of the curb. So everyone is now aware (which I'm sure we all were anyway) The odd mistake is not an issue and won't be penalized at all but continued cutting will be penalized in future rounds

Re: post Snetterton
cool shots, i watched the reply also this morning of the 3rd race
saw myself doing it some laps and saw quite a few others doing it and thought oh well at least everyone was going over them (not the point though)
in Hamilton this year in the aussy v8s they had a electronic tripping thing that gave penalties if cars crossed the Chicane to much
it would be cool to have that on rfactor and inboard swaybar adjustments
is line in or out like in tennis?
also will done kyle george and milo, supper fast racing

Thanks Kris.
I believe on that last corner onto the straight, if you cut it to much that lap does not count. I could be wrong?

it comes up on the screen on practice, but the lap time stall shows, i never cut it enough in the race to see "lap won't count" come up on screen to know if it worked or not

Re: post Snetterton
Cheers Kris, was some good racing out there on this tricky track.
You are not wrong kyle, but your missing the point. The club rules state one wheel must be on the racing surface/bitumen at all times.
I think i made more mistakes at this track than i did at the other rounds of the championship, hope that doesnt happen on the streets. Ouch.

Re: post Snetterton
As Milo said regardless of what the rfactor cutting rule is ours is one wheel on the tarmac at all times. I have viewed all the tapes and had brought it up in the forum so everyone had the same warning.
The corner you used as example I have watched the replay and watched the times and the laps where you didn't come across the curb the times of those laps were slower which means every time you did you would have an advantage over the cars that weren't. Hence why we have the rule
The rules we have is to make it a even playing field for all members.
