I'm leaning towards doing this one solo....

Which way will you go???? Interested....

So we don't have to have a co driver? Wouldn't that be a little bit unfair?

I will more than Likely be going it alone as well



Bathurst looking at 2 hours not sure how I would go with that one but 1 1/2 I think I'm ok with

So if we don't have to have a co driver for Phillip island then I will do the 1 hour 30mins be alone but for bathurst it depends if someone wants to team then I will but I know the mountain from the back of my head because over the last week I have been doing neally 80 laps testing runs....for race pace but my qualy I think I off around 3 secs.....

Also Guys Remember we Are back on Enduros for Phillip Island Server is up if you need some practice

They are the default tyre anyway Benny....

I have now joined up with a driver not telling but if no one else joins up then I will be doing it solo but still n/a at this stage

benny is magic, he can make the track pit crews put on sprints ive seen the work with my own eyes

illl be trying to do it on my own, ill have a pre rolled smoke and a big coffee ready on the stasrt line

I'll be doing Phillip Island and Bathurst on my own

Most of the F1 Races I do go for an hour and a half to 2 hours so it's nothing new to me. Should be fun hope we get some good numbers

Yep I'll be doing it on my own, might set up some sort of caffeine drip to help out. Will be great to see how everyone, including me, drives in longer races.

I'm going to be brave and do them both solo. I've got to have a co-driver for racedepartment so this will get me into enduro mode.

Kris in another section of the forum asked about 3x tyre wear which I tested today back on controls this weekend and 90 mins being tuff enough decided against it.

Tyre wear and fuel will be x2 with 120litres of fuel available it should already give people an advantage that look after there tyres

With initial testing.... Fuel will not be a problem as i will have to pit every 5 laps for tyres!

oh cool benny, i was wondering that today as well ,bringing in the bigger tank so it made it the tyres to be more important, like kiwi says on these controlls the tyres scuff off real easy and we need to smooth out the driving alot,

I might not make it but it depends on a party that I'm going to it.....

im having problems with practice, i hope by wednesday / thursday my eye will be better, today the quack drilled out some rust staining from the center (pupil) caused by a grinding spark last week

Not good mate... hope it gets better.... we need the help with set ups... or I do anyway.....

I'll have to see if I can get away from the girlfriends 21st party early (she had her birthday on Monday) to race. lol. I've got World V8 Supercars later in the night so this will be a good warmup.

I'll have to steal a setup off someone for this race.

ok ive taken off the eye patch 1/2 a day early, hopefully the specalist dosnt make me have another one tomorrow,
setup seems ok to run 100L fuel at 1.38sec laps
now just need to get the crew nutritionist (wife) sorted to keep coffiee and smokes up to me during the race, will be practicing that later

Hope you eye comes good mate. The way you have changed your driving style to look after tyres over the past couple of months is going stand you in good stead through out the enduro series.



I did 10 laps sunday 120 litres fuel 1:37 on 3 x tyre wear and by lap ten couldn't keep it on the road admittely I was having my first test at with no traction control which didn't help tyre life. Car was very easy to run 1:37's at the time remember thinking 35's were going to be on the cards pretty quickly with a dialed in setup and some practice instead of the Watkins Glen version i was running.

138 is race speed for me to look after tyres at 2x wear 120 ish littres per stop 3 stops for the 90 mins, 3 cups of coffee

edit only 3 stops for tyres pluss the starting set

I was Test x3 Wear Moo we are now only running x 2 wear

you need to get 16.25 laps from tyres to do the 65 laps in 3 stops
