Been Downloading for 5 hours and 2.20gig so far thank god for work internet

i just downloaded at work too.. so much easier lol... lookin forward to tryin it 2nite

I can post on a DVD to any NZ members as well

I'll upload to the server tonight with the mod but probably won't be up till tomorrow due to the upload still being 1.2gig I'll set it going when I head to bed

If anyone uses uTorrent... The torrent download is healthy... downloaded it in just under 2 hours.

wow i will say this is a pretty mad mod... except for the menus lol... but the reelfeel settings for each car is spot on. i jus did half a lap in every car lol at sandown and well there is plenty of variety there for sum top notch racing nites...

Mod still Uploading to the Server guys worse upload ever had to do took me about 2 hours of prep to get it ready to upload then My computer went to sleep during the upload last night so had to start it again this morning.

I had a ran in a few cars last night 2 that I really enjoyed were the

1. BMW 1975 very drivable quick no where near as difficult as some of the others

2. The Surprise packet of me after driving many american muscle cars was the 1974 Covette handled great heaps of usable power. Other like the Cobra 427 take some serious throttle control but a lot of fun.

Can't wait to try this mod... Downloaded it last night while i slept... Is it better to install this as a standalone??

For Sure Groupc Give yourself a spare hour to install and about 10 gig plus another 10 - 15 gig in space for temp files during install

just in for a start will be 65 touring cars as per one of our seasons in 2012

Ok, dowloaded the mod np but cant install due to no disc, is there a solution or do i need to purchase GTL?

The mod car models were taken from that game. As a licensing thing for that fact you have to own the game to be allowed to use this mod.

I do by complete fluke, i dont even like gt legends.

I get a werid graphical glitch when ever the car changes gear. Anyone else having trouble?
It's undriveable for me

I think it is a button conflict shakes left then right when changing gears or sometimes when not. Read something about disabling look left and look right buttons

I was having this issue as well. It's to do with the "Grinding Tranny" plug in which is supposed to penalize you if you screw up a gear shift. (incorrect clutch use, wrong revs etc). As far as I can tell the plug in is causing a ton of conflicts and has even caused Rfactor to crash a few times. To overcome the issue I tried to disable the plug in as per the Historix manual, but was still getting problems, so I have deleted all the Grinding Tranny files from the Plug Ins directory. This has solved the issue, but I think I may now have problems if I try to play on a server.

Thanks for that damo I didn't install the plugins at all and didn't put them on the server file

So as damo anyone having any issues remove the plugins first step

You're advice helped me Benny thanks.
All I did was reassign the look left and right buttons.
Hard to imagine why it's like that cos the keys assigned were v and n or something,

cool finally up and running. Thanks heaps to Wally, Benny, and Shano for the help.

And also regarding the grinding tranny.. you can edit values in the grinding tranny .ini file in the plug-ins directory to reduce the stutter

got the mod installed. got the wobble sorted.


these cars are . . . . . different.

very hard to control. you have to brake about 3kms before the corner, or you go sailing into a wall.

my wheel goes nuts when sitting at idle. if i dont hold onto it its spinning all over the place.

must be real feel. i never run it, but it seems you have to for this mod.

I downloaded this today whilst i was out for Christmas, installed it this evening once i got home. All seems to be in order.

Pleased to see an 'Australian' element to the mod with the Allan Moffat Mustang featuring in its original Coca Cola and later Brut 33 colours. Bob Jane's dominant Jaguar got a guernsey too.

I'd read a few things warning about the 'Grinding Tranny' plugin and things about drivers views going funny relating to the real feel plugin, so i just erred on the side of caution and deleted those files from the 'plugins' folder.

I'm still on Historix 1.0, I'm so busy with TCL i can't be bothered d/ling Historix 1.9

Anyway, I did Lakeside & Warwick Farm tonight in the TC-65 Mustang and it's like being with a lady. Don't try too hard and don't go too fast. Just relax, take it easy and try to be neat & tidy, smooth & gentle and you'll get a good result.
