Pre Rd8 - Queensland Raceway

Time now for Rd 8 of the ATCC Support Series, from Queensland Racway.

It gets panned abit but i actually quite like it. Race Distances and formats to be confirmed by Webber/Benny


As a build-up, and seeing as Group A cars never raced at this track, here is the 1987 ATCC round from the original Surfers Paradise race track, a similiar sort of track (flat and quick) to QR

For this Series the Events have been 1/3 of the Original which means

1 x 15 Lap Race
1 x 21 Lap Race

Fuel and Tyres Set to 3 Times

If you need the races to be longer just let us know

Track Available Here which is the old Carline 400 version as the new version has pit bays in the middle of the main straight

I tested there a couple of weeks ago, did 41 laps, so i should have my eye in.

Not a Merc track, that's for sure. Is taking me awhile to get my shit together, what the best lines are and stuff. I suppose that's cos all the corners are so damn long.
Be good racing between TWR's and Sierras though!

Is there a formation lap? I think with this series we had one in the last round but not at others. The Skyline is looking tight on fuel for race 2 so I'll have to try to squeeze in a 21 lap run to decide on strategy.
