Great rollup again last night guys, and a competitive nights racing

Here are the points leading into the final round next Sunday;



My night;

Qual - Managed to set a pretty quick lap in the low 54s in practice, but in the qualifying session i could only manage a mid-54 which put me in 2nd on the grid for the opening race

Race 1 - Corty got a flying start and i was running third at the first corner. Corty, Yay and myself ran very close for the whole race, it was a great dice... we were all having so much fun the three of us even followed eachother off at turn 1 mid-race too. I got upto to second and had a go at Corty at the end but he hung on for a great win

Race 2 - Similiar story to race 1 where i was third early on behind Yay and Corty. Got upto the second and then snuck under Yay at turn 1 when he ran abit wide, and managed to hold on for a win.

Race 3 - I got abit sideways on lap 1 at Hungry Corner and unfortunatly Growler had nowhere to go and we both went off. I got going again and was embroiled in a great dice for pretty much the rest of the race with Benny and FCDean, plus a few others as well. All great racing with everyone giving eachother room and good fun.

This was the complete opposite to Amaroo for me, I managed to avoid any trouble and ended up with a 3rd place in race 3.

Qual - I think I managed 12th with a solid lap

Race 1 - Was aiming for top 10's in every race, given the Corolla didn't quite have the pace. Managed 8th in this one.

Race 2 - Pretty uneventful for me, the guy in front got a horrible start and I ran into him and I dropped back to 13th. But I got into 8th as others went off.

Race 3 - Basically got into a decent pace and others started going off and I managed to get to 3rd. Held off Corty on the last lap and he spun off on the last corner.

Forgot to fit the TRD FA engine for qually and just used the std Group A engine, so i was down 2000 revs and 70hp. Qualified last, 5s slower than everybody else.

Race 1: got a good start, drove carefully to avoid the carnage and was really happy to still be in sight of the pack at race end. That doesn't happen to me too often. Very happy to finish top 10.

Race 2: very cautious at the start and lost a few places early. A couple of unforced errors put me half a lap behind and i struggled home, nearly last.

Race 3: Ran at the back early, never matched anyone for pace, passed a few after they crashed or broke down and ended up 11th.
