A seven round series taking in a variety of British circuits. These tracks should suit these smaller capacity cars down to the ground.

Small Touring Cars on BTCC circuits! I'm in.

I love M3s, but i might try a turbo Escort for something different. I'm learning about FWD set-up.

I intend on giving the TRD engined Corolla another crack providing it's somewhat competitive

wondering if i can prolong corrosion to finish a race in a gtv6???

M3. Loved the Alfa but time to jump in the German machine.

Interested in this. Haven't done touring cars for a while, loved the M3 last time I tried (at XGNs Ring Enduro).

if you want to be competitive then race the merc or m3, if you want a challenge or to be different then race the other cars. with the last under 2.5 the m3 was the pick of the bunch.

Any nights reserved for practising/trying out various cars etc?

That is actually a very good idea, considering next Sunday is Mothers Day as well.

I will amend the calendar after tonights racing, but next weekend will be used as a test night for finding a car to your liking, then the series will start one week later on May 19.

So will we just start at Oulton Park on teh 19th and just slot Brands Hatch in later?

Nah the calendar will stay the same, just the tracks pushed back one week. So the series start will be Brands on May 19

Is mod TCL 1.0 + 3 add ons as per "Sunday Mod Download Here" link?

Which series cars to use? Some series appear to have different power for same car, e.g. Mercedes 190.

Is there some sign up site?

yep and sls is usually setup before season starts to lock in cars and people registering to be in the points for a championship.

Yeah download everything in "Sunday Mod Download Here" on the left-hand column , that will cover you for not only this series but also future Sunday series after this one

Tried to test online last night, but server was at Japanege GP circuit, so i tested offline at Silverstone. I'm happy with the Esccort turbo.

Skins will be free gca.

The main reason is that if it was BTCC only skins it would eliminate the Merc 190s (none ran in the BTCC) and limit the choice of Alfa 75s.

I was testing the various cars out the other night and I appeared to have a problem with the GTV6 when using the bonnet view. Some of the bonnet appears missing and there are no mirrors on the top of the screen. Does anyone else have this issue?

Not sure if its just me, but something seriously wrong with the Escort RS Turbo, either steering or FF, heavy as steering plus when u put gas on it torque steers like its a rocket car.. regular escort is fine...

Plus does it matter which year and series we choose a car from, as long its under 2.5 and in the list on the thread?

Server is all setup with all tracks

Due to Mothers day tonight and normally such a low number night we have the start back a week.

Maybe Tonight would be a good night have a run on a couple of the tracks and see which car will suit them for the series

Had some car issues and server kicked me so re-downloading now, hope to be there later on

good racing in the quick races tonight. corolla is quite competitive in cortys hands so that'll be a combo to watch during the season.

Liked the Merc as well as the Alfa, still cant decide what I be the least terrible in lols..happy to get game to work hehe.. thanks Benny for your patience

I jumped online last night and had a Practice in an M3. My times weren't very good, but it looks like it will be a fun series. Am really looking forward to having a race on Sunday night, just need to sort out the Teamspeak thing.

I would have liked to run the GTV6 to give the field some variety, but was 1/2 sec slower then the 75 or M3, and I'll already be at the back of the field and don't need an nextra disadvantage. So an orange Bimmer for me.

I think ill leave it to the last minute to decide

Will be between the Merc & the Rolla

The Rolla would be fun and I think would supprise at some tracks and be great in the reverse grid races. The only thing is the Rolla will get smashed in the long straight tracks.

But the Merc I think will have no trouble keeping up with the M3's and should be quick everywhere.

The Rolla is good for a flat 50sec if the lap is right around Brands Hatch, where as the Merc is anywhere in the 49sec if the lap is right.

Im yet to test which one will be more consistent, will have to do some tests.

This should be great if my back doesnt get in my way
