Historix and TCL Championship - Starts 29th June

Mods:
Historix 1.96 and Touring Car Legends
 
League Start:
29th June 2014
 
League Format:
This will be a 10 week league using both the Historix and TCL mods. Each mod will be run on alternate weeks using the same tracks.
For example the first round would be run at Bathurst using the Historix mod. Round two would be the TCL mod at Bathurst.
Round 3 would be Historix at Sandown, round 4 would be TCL at Sandown.
There will be 2 races per night with a possible enduro round. Race details will be announced in the race night details.
Qualifying will start at 7.30pm TTR time with the first race starting around 7.45pm.
Separate points will be given for Historix, TCL and combined overall.
 
Cars:
Historix
You can use any car with a B1 category. These are:
Alfa GTAm
Alpine Renault A310 V6
BMW 2002 Tii
BMW 2800CS
BMW 3.2 CSL Alpina
Ferarri Dino 246 GTS
Capri 2600 RS
Escort MK1 RS
Porsche 911 2.5
Porsche 911 2.4
Porsche 914/6 GT 2.5
 
Touring Car Legends
Any car will be available except the Ford Sierra, EVO BMW and VL Commodore (TWR).
One you have chosen you cars you must use these for the entirety of the league!

Seeing as we are going from vintage to modern in the cars, I thought I would do the same for the tracks
These are the tracks and in the order they will run.

Practice Night:
We will be having a couple of practice nights before the league starts.
 
Teamspeak:
It would be appreciated if all drivers could at least be in listen mode on Teamspeak, for the safety of all.
Please refrain from talking or chatting in game during qualifying. This can distract the other drivers who are trying to set a lap time.
 
Qualifying:
There will be qualifying for the first race. This will be a 10 minute open session.
The grid for the second race will be made up from the finish postions of the first race, however to mix it up we may run a reverse grid race, reverse top 10, or a random draw. Details on the night.
 
Warmup:
Yes. This will allow everyone a few minutes to cope with anything unforeseen. If drivers are ready warm-up will be by-passed.
 
Starts:
Standing start
(There will be no race restarts - but this is at the discretion of the organisers or if the majority rule)
 
Aids:
Traction Control: Low
ABS: Low
Auto Clutch: Yes
(TC and ABS are on low for beginners. It is recommended you turn these off).
 
Damage:
Damage will be set to 50%
 
Setups:
Open
 
Tires and Fuel:
Set to 2x
 
Penalties:
This is racing. Accidents will happen. However dangerous driving, driving causing accidents and not redressing etc will not be tolerated. The harshness of the penalty is at the discression of the organisers.
If you want an incident reviewed please PM the organiser with the relevant details.

I'm not 100% sure and would have to check. Its basically the cars we ran in the last TCL league...

For anyone that is downloading the TCL mod, I've combined all the add on's & patches into one download.
All you need now is the TCL v1.0 & TCL v1.0-v1.1 + All Add on's & Patches downloads.

Touring Car Legends Downloads:

STEP 1:  TCL v1.0  Download 

STEP 2:  TCL v1.0 - v1.1 + All Add on's & Patches Download 

If this is your first time downloading & installing TCL or just doing a fresh install, the two downloads above is all you need.
Start by downloading & installing TCL v1.0.
Then TCL v1.0 - v1.1 + all add on's & patches (this includes everything needed to get into the servers)

If you already had TCL installed and your getting a "TCL.rfm" mismatch,
you most likely just need this: BMW 635 Patch  Download 

If that didn't work, then I suggest a fresh download & install of the TCL mod.

I've just downloaded the historic Gt mod parts 1 and 2 and when installing its coming up with I need a GT legends install. Is there a patch to get around this or do I need to download another version of the mod?

Had a little run here, its a nice flowing track and the Dino looks like its close to being on on pace here

just tried installing rouen les essarts, double click the .exe file and nothing happens, am i doing something wrong, has the file crapped itself?

Yeah same here, trying a different download now.

Tried another link and got the same thing  

I found a version on the race server, not sure what version it is ?
