Post race - Barbagallo

Great turn out for the last race of our 2012 series 1.....

There was some awesome racing and close battles (looking at the replays)

Thanks to all who attended during Series 1.

awsome race 2 all apart from tapping a couple of people mostly feel bad for manz sry m8
..Webber and i battling while carving through the field and he courtiously waited when i hit manz also that put us back inm 8th and 9th again i think so I kept pushing with webber right on my tale we got upto the front couple then webber got a bit loose out on the dirt so i waited then he put the foot down lol great race very enjoyable wd POD I came of at the last cotner watching and hoping youd get a good run out of the last corner and you did I slammed the wall p4 lol wd web p2 nib p3

gonna attempt 100percent of series 2 although that prolly wont happen rofl

Qually pulled out a pretty good time but still left me way down the pack...

R1 Got pushed into the kitty litter early and that was pretty much my night had a couple of good mini battles but finished down the order..

R2 Had a good start had good pace all race but went for a 2 stopper on softs and lost a few places and gained them back was running really well Clean, Consistant and quick by my standards and a great little battle with Obbzy for a while until he had a small issue at T1 and I got through things were going really well and I fought my way through all race and into the points,, Last Lap T1 slid of the track and undid my hard work all in all a good Series 1 and look forwrd to Series 2...

R1 Had a shocker......bad start and come off about 3 times during the race on the main straight.......only to find that my rear wing was set to 2 and had no rear grip.......that will teach me to muck around with my setting before the race.

R2 had a not bad start and rear wing set to race settings.....went through the race without a mistake and was clear of any traffic....could see Webber , Richo coming hard with with a couple of laps to go and said to my self.."I'll be happy with third..lol" these guys were racing hard........but stuck to a so called racing line......got a bit nervous the last 2 turns with Webber hard on my tail but decided not to push to hard on the last turn because that bloody ripple strip would ruin my race if i flattened it........low and behold I steadied it down the straight and made it to P1..............whoooohoooo!

Thanks for waiting for me to d/load skins for Race 2.
Had a ball, wish I could've gotten on earlier though!
Had an old setup (good enough 6-8 months ago, not now a days).
Didn't know what to do so filled her up & chucked on a set
of Intermediates & winged it basically .
Had a tough time keeping up with Sonofa in the 1st stint, but
jept him honest at least.
Obviously didn't need fuel at the pit stop, just 1 stopped
with a fresh set of inters & battled on. Good mini-battle
with Powerslave & surprised myself with an 11th after all that.
