So onto the big daddy, Bathurst, for the next race

Race Length - changed to 3 hours
Tyres - x3
Fuel - x3

Qualifying - 7.30pm

Might have to use live racers as qual during the day

You can team up David with someone or run by yourself. I'm sure plenty of the saturday guys that would team up they might be also looking for a team mate for there 3 hour race in the v8's

Any chance of starting a little early. The race wouldn't finish until after 1.00am Sunday night NZ time...

no one who's seen me race will want me as a co-driver.

I think if we have qual based on Liveracers times during the day so we can roll straight into race in between 7:00 and 7:30 pm.

What time can people make it

Do I need to sign up at the SLS site or does this come under the ATC support races?
I have looked at the SLS site and there is nothing listed for Sandown etc...

Is there a way to make a command line like when setting the grid to give everyone a 5 minute stop/go penalty ? Then people can have a weewee stop or a crap or whateva.
If so maybe a good idea ?

You can Corty but unless I'm spectating I can only do it all at once not as people need it

Thats what I meant, to do it all at once at say half race distance, that way everyone has the same time in the pits and not loosing time to other drivers.

It is all part of the ATCC Series

i dunno but can ya enable ai control for like 3 laps so ya can do stuff .... if cortys pit idea cant be done... will be a long 3 hours either way lol...

So keen. Might jump in a commo or M3 for this one!

I have done planty of 2.4 hrs so 3hrs in one stint should be no problem...

There is a problem with the penatly system as we will have drivers teaming up. If I pre race create a batch file with all names of drivers allowing for which every driver team driver could be in the car I don't know what would happen when the second driver comes back to the car would they get the penalty again.

The AI I don't think is viaable as we have no way of knowing how long someone is under AI control. Some could have a half hour break and be fresh for the race to the end.

Like I said above don't have to do it by yourself can team up

Yeh I'll punch 3 hours by myself. Shouldn't be a big worry, will just have a couple of ice breaks ready to go. Will mean a mid race squirt though lol!

Judging by the date of this race, I think I will be pretty busy around then and won't be able to make it. I would have definitely gone for the co-driver option.

tried the new version and i'm a big fan, looks heaps better and feels more accurate too, also the dipper isn't as harsh anymore

3 x 1 hour races is a much better idea. We can do one or two and then go to bed. Also, is better for people with dodgy net and drop outs.

Tried out the ATCC Volvo at the mountain last night, was comically slow compared to the DRM's I was just running lol

3x1 hr isn't an Enduro. End of the day, its not a massive amount more than what we would have to run anyway.

I reckon 1 x 1 hour is an enduro.

IRL longest race i've ever done was 8 laps at Bathurst. I was pretty buggered at the end of that.

Last Years Race was 51 laps which with out stops averaging 2:17 laps would have been Two Hours and 3 mins. I Believe only Wally and Myself shared a car, We have done quite a few races though out the league at 2 hours and the idea this year was to push us all that little bit more. Bathurst isn't a walk in the park so what the idea of the three hours

Opening it up to teams I thought gave people a chance to bring there driving time back.

Let's give it a try this year if it does't work we can go back to the short event next year. I have done these distances when your get there they are rewarding I'm sure most will enjoy the night
