Bathurst 350 - 22nd October

As this is Bathurst month, we have decided to hold our own special TTR race in honour of the great race.
 
BATHURST 350!!
(Approximately 350kms/2 hours)

Date: 22nd October

Qualifying: From 7.00pm TTR time

Race Start Time: 7.45pm TTR time

Settings: 1 x tires, 2 x times fuel, 65% damage

Where abouts do i get the skin pack from fellas... I wouldn't mind having a crack at this one

I have looked at in the past the only way to get it to work is have someone call safety car as a command but the hard thing is people understanding it isn't at you advantage. As a admin group could pre decide times and set alarm to hit button t call safely car

I did think of just putting in the command to trigger a saftey car, but how do I do that in race?

Aus_ChrisRX - are the skins under the Saturday Mod downloads or the rFactor Mods download on the left hand side?

Growler i could only get in if i had a standard skin, not one out of the acsp selection.

Don't worry about the skins. I can't find a suitable link for it, and you can join without it anyway.
There just may be some double-ups.

Oh...and it takes aaaages to find the server. It is there...you just have to keep refreshing about 20 times!

I would recommend joining TS as we can help can be offered much easier

Edit: I was having a blast up until lap 17.

was a fun event, pace car definately threw a spanner in the works and evened up the field a bit, few different pit strategies, had a stop go after first stop and i thought the race was over for me but pitted late under safety car. at the end i just wanted to make it to the magical 15min mark for final stop so no splash n dash was required.
well done to those who stuck it out and had some good battles along the way.

Thanks to all the people who organized the race it was lots of fun. sorry to the people i hit when the silly pace car came out my internet sucks when it rains good old telstra nit. And well dun AUS chrisrx for winning.

Great event. Pace car is a good idea, just ont with rFactors implentation.

Ran out of fuel entering pit lan, not usually a problem, but it coughed right as i needed a blimp on the downshift. Got diff locked and it tossed me into the sand pit

Great racing with Chris after the Pacecar, and NZ Reefa + one other I dont recall sorry.

yeah i saw you jumping around VP and yeah it sure was riven, had to try and get past you as quick as i could as i saw corty and GCA in traffic, just couldnt get past over the top as theres no room. also hats off for GCA around the outside of me into skyline....top move that one

Yeah the safety car was a bit screwey, I thought I was going to get a penalty but thankfully didn't. But the effect it had afterwards was really good, I got to actually race with people till the end of the race where I don't think that was going to be the case without a safety car cos I was a fair way behind the next car.

I'm thinking about doing the Brock memorial 6 hour event with JFF racing. But I need a co driver, is there anyone interested in teaming with me? You guys will know I'm not super quick but will bring the car home in one piece. My race' pace was 2:12s and low 13s last night so you can't be expecting to win it.

If you follow the link in my previous post you should find an entry list, there's nearly thirty teams already, it's a mix of clans like JFF,FDG and OR etc.
I might have a team mate sorted now.

It was me Riven. I was having a blast, you had the legs on me down conrod but i had the pull over the top to stay in front. Up until i was punted into the wall and got a penalty dropping me from 3rd to 9th and damaging my car, I was loving the pacecar and still believe it should be run on the enduros.

It was good tight racing with no touches or bumps and was shaping up to be a fantastic end.
