Restart Development?

The first revival of TCL was going very well when it was decided to just give up after less than six months. Shall we have another a go? we still need the jag, the VN and of course...

2. That Leaves the Skyline and the VN. Also maybe fix the GTV and Starion? Rot Teufel's been complaining.

On facebook there is a page called "Touring Car Legends Mod for rFactor", in there it gives the reasons for why the 'resurgence' of the mod was ended by the TCL team.

The Jag was i think from the seperate 1984 Spa 24hr mod that was being made. Some other forums have got it into TCL for their private leagues use, but i don't think it will be "publically" released.

The GTR body shapes were done, but i don't think the cars had an sound, interiors or physics completed.

It looks like the Skyline (along with a Sierra) that came out circa-2008, before TCL came out

In the early days of TCL people i saw people convert these cars over into TCL, but the models were much bigger than the TCL cars and the physics from memory weren't right.

few issues with the cars

DR30
model: needs alot more work especially the front end, the fronts too high off the ground in comparison to the sides, the instrument gauges and the needles are located in the wrong spots
sounds: files are not included, doesnt take mauch to swap the r31 sound files to the dr30 in the .sfx file.

R32: skins dont show up for me, unsure why not. also phsics are for a 2wd car..........R32's were 4WD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

maserati was the best of the 3 even though the steering wheel is offset wierd with incar view and seat doesnt go further back.

I did a few previously and i know DP did too to fill out some of the cars in the Aussie years, they are all in the TCL downloads on this site.

With the new cars though seemingly released, i'm sure i will skin some of the Aussie entries at some point and will pas them on to you Smile

GIO and 91 schemes will be done soon.
winfield skin and updated (4WD physics are on teamspeak in TCL file browser) let me know what you think of them, need to really test them in multiplayer as i'm only testing them against AI and my rs500 times.
