From mine side, i would like to finish what i start over one and half year ago with TCL before start anything else. I don't know the others, since we're back to only 3 skinning members.
Now all 2 missing BMW M3 are done (plus 1988 redone)

Re: Restart Development?
Hi guys,
Just wondering, which models, if any, do you have in TCL that you
can authorise to bring over to rF2?
We're looking at completely upgrading the TCR mod in rF2 & if we can get
access to a few more models that would be great.
We have:
M3, M3 Evo, 635, Vitesse, Vk, Vl Brock, Vl TWR, Sierra, Skyline R30 & 240T...
If possible we'd like anything you guys have developed into game:
Skyline R32, Vn Commodore, GTV, Maserati, XJ-S etc...
And possibly, if you can scheme it, access to the Merc, Mustang, Starion &
Alfa 75...
It's gonna be a bit of work, almost ground up to get to latest rF2 specs...
If people want to help out I have no problems with that, but will need
to sort some stuff out first...

I say go for your life !
The more on rF2 the better IMO
I'm not sure how help any of us would be though, but I know Chrisrx fixed up the physics for the R32 and Jag.

BMW M3 Evo Update 2
I decide to release a some small fixes for the BMW M3 Evo from the DTM 1990 skinpack. Strange i never noticed, but better later than never.
Anyway those are small in develop edits that could change in future.
Fixes included:
- weight increased to 1020 kg (940 car + 80 driver) for Evo 90 (DTM, ATCC) and 1070 kg (940 car + 80 driver + 50) for Evo 92 (ATCC 92). Thanks to philrob that notice my previous mistake.
- front left suspension height fixed from 8 cm to 9 cm (as front right suspension height)
- reworked gearbox now named M3Evo_gears.ini. Orginal TCL M3P_gears.ini included for the normal M3.
- Engine rev limit decreased from 9500 to 9250 rpm
- ATCC 91/92/93 skins
- TCL driver from M3.mas
- m3.gen if you don't have DTM 1990 addon
Have fun

Plus Bonus
M3 2L New Gearbox
M3PGears.ini has too long ratios for the 250HP 2L engine used for BTCC from 1990 to 1992. Test it and tell me if it's good enough.
At the moment it's only limited to BTCC 1990 pack. After enough positive feedback it'll be included in BTCC 1991 - 1992 BMW Skinpack.

Re: Restart Development?
i did the physics for r32 but didnt end up doing anything with the jag.
the r32 will be a fun car to make new physics for especially incorporating and setting up a new tyre models and chassis flex model.

Re: Restart Development?
On physis side, i know that phil is working hard on Mustang and VK 85 Commodore. We develop a beta of 528i. If interested, i can send a link by PM.
On Jaguar i just made some quick engine with the correct HP for 1982-83 years (1982: 370HP; 1983: 400HP).
Speaking about r32, before start painting things are already done, there're the 1990-1992 skins or when i'll finish the new ETCC skinpack may i start paint them?
Some progress about the mentioned ETCC skinpack, plus the BTCC 91-92 BMW addon from ale.

Re: Restart Development?
Some updates i never expected, but they happens:
- JTCC grid has become bigger more than we think and there's a lot of new cars. There's plenty of new entries.
- same for ETCC: we have found more hidden cars and fix a lot of inaccurancies from TCL original mod.
In few words, this project became biggen than i think. I think there'll be another 7/10 cars we have done that aren't showed here (new and fixed ones)
All progress (some cars has been updated since them)

i really don't have a clue and probably even with a trace.txt...
And since one of our guys is still using XP as OS, i'll exclued it as the cause of the problem.
not only me, intel and ale did their job too. Most dipends on the mood, skills and materials (photo, sources, etc, etc). Plus....
Good news everyone (cit.)
The wait for ETCC-JTCC Skinpack should be over. I hope i could be able to pack and upload it next week. No 100% guarantiees, but there could be chance. I edited so much thing i must see file over file to check manually what has been edited or not, since some .veh gen string had been changed for some veichles in order to get them the proper rims (where is possible). Plus i must wait approval for one car.
Each year readme will be updated with the new skins and proper authors.

And here under spoiler, all the fixed and new 104 liveries in the pack (87 are brand new) in over 8 months of work

not only me, intel and ale did their job too.

Re: Restart Development?
Some progress from me
BTCC 1983: 11 cars (13 with the two GTV6), some new, some edited from ETCC 1983 Silverstone run and BTCC 1984. Fun fact: pictures of 1983 BTCC are really, really, really rare. Videos too. Don't know why.
BTCC 1985: the missing corolla from Kimber-Smith
Bathurst 1990: i always wonder why the ATCC superpack doesn't have any Sierra but almost all other cars. Well, i'm trying to complete the gap, starting from Carter - Mann Sierra.
DTM 1989: fixed this alt livery of Faltz Essen team from Hockenheime round. If you remember it was a highliner car. Now is close to the real one.

Re: Restart Development?
We're still alive even if our lives are busy.
We're working on some ATCC/Bathurst cars to make them close as we can to the real ones and working on 1986 and 1987 NZ Nissan Mobil 500 skinpacks.
I guess there'll be no problem if we include you guys (and teiresias) as the original authors of the old Oceania pack, 'cause we would like to publish as an enhanced version (new skins, fixed missing alpha channel on some skins, new physis).

Re: Restart Development?
A bad news and a good news.
The bad: due lateral epicondylitis i'm forced to stop skinning for the next 2-3 months.
The good: philrob and intelpower will keep working on anyway. Plus we're able from Alessio_F1 to get the CIVT, Belgian TCC and NTK (Netherlands TCC) files he has done.
The monthly progress as usual.
