IMPORTANT NOTICE!

We have made a change for Bathurst on the 8th of October. With drivers teamed up, we were looking at numbers and realised that we would have lower numbers on the track. So we made an approach in the forums to see if there was any interest from the Sunday regulars, with little response. So Last Week Benny and myself spoke to Nibiru, whom you guys will know from running with us in the V8 Supercars Series Weekends. (Nibiru is the owner of Xfactorracing.com) and invited him to ask some of his guys to come and run with us on the night and create and inter-league race out of the night.

To get more guys online Nibiru has offered his server for the night which has 32 slots. So at this stage 8 cars / 16 drivers each.

For this to work we realise we may have some people miss out that might have normally run on the night, however it has been rare for us to get more than 16 drivers at a V8 Supercar round. All Regular Saturday drivers will be given the the opportunity first but we need a 100% commitment from members. Unfortunately we can't hold a spot for someone that will be there "if I make it back on time from something I'm doing that day" etc.
Those that have already run in the first race of the championship or are regular runners on Saturdays will have first option.

These drivers (from the Enduro series) are the following
Benny, Kiwi, Kris, Wally26, Dano, M1N1K0B3, Nick, Webber, Wobbly, KDSR_Spaz, Peter308 & Shaynskyline

Can all these drivers please send a PM to Benny or myself ASAP with a Yes or No. Other slots may be available as soon as drivers are confirmed from both leagues. Due to short notice we an answer by the morning please.

I will start a post for the list of confirmed drivers / teams and edit it as we get confirmed entries.

There is one other thing all driver changes must be made in the pits and anyone running by themselves will have to stop in the pits after there stop for a set amount of time to cover the time difference that other teams would take to do there driver change. We will test ASAP to let you know what time it would take. This would be an honesty system which I m sure we can all trust each other with

i keen to know what driver change time is??
if its not long it would even out anyway as anyone running by themselves will get tired and slower any way theyll be like or

any ruleing on pit exit with the cones
EG: keep all wheels inside cones
keep 2 wheels inside cones
keep car crossed up to warm tyres useing pit lain and track
????

i was talking about the time differnce in driver swap plus fuel tyres
or just fuel tyres for the single runners

i think the race can be done in 4 stops 5 tanks
say if a driver swop time was 10second longer
over the 4 stops is 40 seconds
the single runners should be able to take that 40 at once to go to toilet or roll a smoke

Hey Benny has it decided how much time penalty there will be for solo drivers?

Drivers are aloud to switch at anytime so they can do it on the way on to the pits so no penalty will be applied

gday guys ....bathurst looming ..cant wait ....i am also a member of xfactorracing........we race v8s on a monday night .......I race with TTR on saturday nights ......id love to race on saturday with ttr but i am very keen to race solo......if thats not possible ......im happy to race with someone looking for a partner........IM NOT THE FASTEST DRIVER ...BUT ...EVERY ENDURO IVE RACED IVE FINISHED......c u there

We have a few going solo also so as long as we don't get to a position where people miss out happy for you to run solo as well

2 solo drivers or a team are the same slots,
more people going solo is more cars on track.

I'll be doing it solo.. not because I wouldn't like to drive with one of us, but because I'll enjoy the challenge. Also means one more driver

Yea no point having the TBA next to me in the post above I was going on my own as well I just thought we were only allowed to run 8 cars but since we can run up to 16 i'll be doing this one solo

And yea quoting Webber means we have more drivers and a bigger field on race night plus I do 100% distance F1 races which is around 90 minutes pretty much every week it's much more of a challenge (to me... lol) than driving a V8.

Not critcising the V8's lol lay off me please ! The Supercars are hard to drive but Formula 1 cars are definitely harder when you don't have one single driving aid and if you wanna go the speed I go in them

Xfactor have been working on their skin pack for a while... we haven't started (as yet)

It would be too difficult for everyone to release their skins individually.
A TTR skin pack may be an option in the future (we are discussing it)

Maybe by the next inter-league event we will have it sorted

so do we put there one in with the mods one and it over rides it . then later remove it and re put in backup of the mods origanal one?

Hey Kris yeah just install it they are separate to our the default cars anyway

the skins we use at xfactorracing are great for a novelty ...but when i go raceing v8 SUPERCARS...THATS WHAT I WANT TO SEE ....VODOPHONE HOLDENS AND JIMBEAM FORDS ..............of course this is only my point of view ............thats why i came to TTR......to race against v8 supercars ........as seen on TV
