Race report when I have had some beauty sleep... ..... I may be a while!

internet speed for me wish i could'a race with you all.......

R1 win, but good close race
R2 2nd, but lead for a while, WD spazz
R3 win, but had two offs so was very close at the end

Had a Ball last night great track no practice again but managed to keep myself in touch with leaders most of the night finishing fourth all night

Well i reformatted my pc yesterday. Didnt plan on attending. But i got v8s installed in time.

Arrived for race 2 with about 2 seconds to go. Begged a setup and got on the grid.

Lights go green and my car just sits there, nothing happening. seems i hadn't reloaded my control set and it was still on keyboard from the reset. GRR.

Race 3 i got away ok, ran into the grass turn 1, spun, some orange car ran into me cos i was spinning backwards across the track, sorry who ever that was. Then i over shot the stoopid last turn and ended up in the sand. GG idiot. Then on lap2 i ran into the pit wall and saw a wheel flying down the straight.

Idiot. I really shouldnt have bothered. I'm not a huge fan of these V8's but Kris is very close on LiveRacers ratings, and im trying to keep top spot.

Even though im sure those rating mean nothing to anyone. but hey, im first at something.

oh. that is true. i think i knew that. but not.

good then.

ill do better next round. maybe do more than 10 laps training to start with.

Kris is right... the NZV8 series isn't on Live Racers..
The Live Racer system is not 100% anyway.. it doesn't always upload the results.. in the HQ series it would sometimes only upload 1 race out of the 3 for the night....

Qualified 2nd behind Kris.

Race 1 ... was in 3rd until I was trying to read a txt coming up to the last turn (how dumb was that?)
Re-entered the race in 7th... A few laps later I thought I would have a go at getting down the inside of Benny at the last turn and braked too late and into the quicksand I went again.... Finished 6th....

Race 2 ... Concentrated a bit more and after getting up into 3rd, stayed there for the race....

Race 3 ... Got up into 2nd and stayed there for most of the race... Saw that Spaz was catching me and after I narrowed the gap for him by having a couple of off track excursions , he was too good and dropped me back to 3rd.... and that was where I finished.

# Another reminder we want everyone on Teamspeak by Feb 1 for our series races. It takes out the need to type the pre race and if any one has issues or questions we can sort it straight away.....
