Just add heaps of toe and lots of camber and I'm sure you would have to pistop sooner than later...aus_chrisrx wrote:need to add more tyre wear to influence a pit stop

I'm not listed on the SLS results either, but I appear to be successfully registered. I've PM'ed Racer69, but being a newbie I guess there is a chance I have stuffed something up in the registration process......

An interesting track, I don't like it to be honest, hard to feel a flow. Still, should be a good race for sure, looking very competitive again!

Rd2 - Oulton Park (Island Circuit) June 2nd
top racing last night, race one had a top battle with grpc till he span, came home 2nd behind webber only to get booted just after the finish line
race 2 started 2nd and spent half the race chasing after corty till his tyres went off, then had webber closing in on me but just managed to just stay in front to get the win
see ya's next week

Re: Rd2 - Oulton Park (Island Circuit) June 2nd
had some great racing in the first race and clawed back a few spots do to some others making mistakes gifting late positions. might need to get the race officials to have a look into it
race 2 was a shambles for me, got a good start and clawed up a few positions being reverse grid, then came around the first corner to find alot of smoke cars going everywhere, an alfa being thrown into the air and no where to go with a blue polka dotted beema sitting right infront of me......After the incident i was set on clawing back some points and time to minimise the championship loss and was racing hard with Sulley till the end.
Great racing especially with 20 drivers evenly matched, makes clean overtaking very difficult and if you want to see an awesome overtake watch the replay of race 2 of my overtake on Sulley at the end of the race.....Very Cool and couldnt have been timed any better Ala Hakkinen on Schuey at Spa (you guys know the one!)

Re: Rd2 - Oulton Park (Island Circuit) June 2nd
I ended up 8th in race 1, considering I was 20th on lap 1 after I got spun around that was not too bad.
Race 2 was going well until someone knocked out the brake marker, which in turn made me miss the hairpin. On rejoin I stuffed up one of the John West Alfas and I wasn't sure which one so I ended up slowing down more then I needed to. Ended up 13th I think.

Re: Rd2 - Oulton Park (Island Circuit) June 2nd
This season is getting better and better.
Race 1 - nothing too exciting here.
Race 2 - yep, awesome. Started last. Turn 2, M3 started to swap ends over that first bump, I could see myself plowing into half the field. Wrenched the wheel left and thankfully took the car into the grass and scrubbed a lot of speed and paint on the armco, and didn't hit anyone.
Run up through the field to 2nd was just awesome, in fact had a good little battle with almost everyone. No Hakkinen like passes unlike Chrisrx, but the best was probably outside DV8 into the chicane, plenty of room left from both drivers.
It's just brilliant having all the main protagonists from all the past TCL series all racing, and all in similar machinery, we all have different strengths. Main characters are CortyGT - is just impossibly consistent in races. Racer69 - definitely the #1 when it comes to tyre strategy and pit stops. GroupCAction - has the best wheel to wheel race craft. And Webber - can qualify a car, but tends to make errors in races especially when not leading.
Then add in drivers like Berlsy, who has good lines on tracks like this one, for added excitement.
