Re: Pre Dijon rants
well id thought id have a shot at this tonight.
id say the comos will struggle here, its very tight and lots of crests for unwieghting the car. but the straight is massive and will be hard to match a commo's speed even in the sierra.
i got a 1:28 flat. just to kick off the benchmark.

Wont be around for this race Doing a charity cycle across the UK over the weekend Gl all. I may do a few laps to see where I would be pace wise. I await round 4 with much excitement! Btw - will we be doing wellington? Haven't seen any releases of it yet.

At this stage, more than likely Hamilton

You might be right there menthol369 about the Commodores. 1:31.1 after a few laps (19 laps, but most were just 'out' laps).
With a bit more work (and getting used to this track, a bit tight for the VK ), might do sub 1:30's...
The M3 should be very competitive here. M11sterbob was had done a 1:29.8 in an M3 while I was on.
Cheers

yewww. i dunno who's picking these tracks. but they are full of awesome. Dijon is great.
so i was a little worried, cos i couldnt get under like 1:33 in my M3.
Dan (menthol369) gave me some good advice, which opened my eyes a little. And i realised that i was approaching the track all wrong.
M11sterbob lent me a setup which was okay but wasnt working for me. So i managed to get my own one setup pretty nice. (thanks though Bob.)
My best time ATM is 1:30.083 on mediums, at 1am with my eyes half closed lol. i am pretty happy with this.
The Sierras are doing low :27s, i know i can get into low :29s. It wont be tonight tho. lol.
Gdnite.
